As a DevOps & Agentic Engineering Developer (f/m/d) , you will help accelerate the development and operation of our Physical AI stack for China. You will work together with the existing Suzhou Physical AI team and contribute to a modern engineering environment for Level 2 robotics skills, including:
picking and placing applications
motion-planning related components
robotics drivers and connectivity integration
software quality, automation, observability, and deployment enablement
This role combines modern DevOps and platform automation practices with emerging agentic AI-assisted engineering methods. You will help the team build faster, test smarter, integrate more reliably, and improve productivity across software delivery and platform operations.

Key responsibilities
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for robotics software, platform services, and connectivity components
Improving developer productivity through automation, reusable engineering workflows, and efficient build/test/deploy setups
Establishing observability capabilities such as logging, metrics, tracing, and diagnostics for robotics and integration-heavy software stacks
Supporting quality engineering with automated test pipelines, validation tooling, and release readiness checks
Helping structure environment management, artifact handling, and reproducible development workflows across local and global teams
Applying AI-assisted and agentic engineering approaches to code generation, documentation, test automation, troubleshooting, and quality improvement
Supporting deployment and integration of robotics software components in lab, pilot, and customer-oriented environments
Collaborating with developers and architects to improve maintainability, reliability, and engineering velocity
Contributing to DevOps practices and secure software delivery
Helping create a scalable engineering setup that supports future growth of the Suzhou Physical AI team

Required Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Studying abroad is a plus. but not required.
5+ years experience in DevOps, platform engineering, build/release engineering, or software automation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, scripting, source control workflows, and test automation
Familiarity with containerized development, infrastructure automation, or cloud/native engineering patterns
Good software engineering understanding and ability to work closely with developers on code, tooling, and debugging
Interest in or experience with AI-assisted engineering and agentic tooling for developer productivity
Practical problem-solving mindset and comfort in fast-moving engineering environments

Preferred qualifications
Experience with robotics software pipelines, simulation/test automation, or hardware/software integration environments.
Experience working with vision models and VLAs.
Familiarity with Python and modern development toolchains
Experience with observability stacks, release automation, or platform diagnostics
Exposure to industrial software delivery, edge environments, or hybrid deployment models
Experience with AI coding assistants, test-generation tools, or agentic workflow tools
Experience working at a multinational corporation (MNC) is a plus.

Languages
Fluency in English and Chinese
German is a plus, but not required
