Siemens is a leading Production company specializing in Electrical (Breaker). We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining efficient warehouse operations to meet our clients' needs.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warranty Support Quality Engineer for our Grand Prairie Breaker Plant for 1st shift. The Quality Engineer Day-to-day activities will be evaluating, repairing, and testing of returns (RMA's) with the flexibility to travel on short notice for warranty type support at Siemens facilities or other customer sites.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Responsibilities include evaluation, testing and troubleshooting of Low Voltage circuit breakers in a lab type setting as well as onsite customer support.
- Perform testing per relevant standards, product check lists, and customer requirements.
- Identify potential nonconformances and drive root cause corrective actions.
- Conduct client communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner while supporting warranty efforts and performing remedial repairs of circuit breakers and associated components.
- Location will be onsite at the Mayfield facility with flexibility to travel on short notice.
- You will represent Siemens in a customer-facing role with our customers from brownfield to greenfield site conditions ensuring products comply with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to work independently, ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws during travel.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and risk reduction initiatives.
- Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Ability to evaluate product data and information related to overall manufacturing and assembly processes.
- May conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure conformance to quality standards.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years manufacturing or related experience.
- Understanding of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical / mechanical testing.
- Working knowledge of general electrical tools, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and schematics.
- Ability to travel 50%, could be international depending on site locations
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidate(s) experienced with power distribution system equipment. UL489 and 1066.
- Good knowledge of Siemens 3WL, 3WA, and 3VA Low Voltage power circuit breaker operations.

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
