What will you do?
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including material handling, kitting, and inventory activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. This role contributes to meeting operational targets, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting a safe and organized work environment. The position requires attention to detail, SAP familiarity, and the ability to perform physical tasks while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, material handling, kitting, and inventory control.
- Perform kitting of materials to support production and shipment requirements, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct detrashing activities to remove excess packaging and maintain efficient material flow and workspace organization.
- Utilize SAP to perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate system records.
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Ensure daily operational targets are achieved and support overall warehouse performance.
- Maintain organization and control of materials to support efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
- Provide backup support to team members and assist with cross-functional coverage as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Participate in team activities, promoting communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What will you need to succeed?
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Equivalent work experience in a warehouse or material handling environment may be considered.
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience (Raymond Reach preferred).
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar inventory systems.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 50,000.00 CAD - $ 60,000.00 CAD, excluding benefits.]
