Quality & Site Manager HV GIS I&C
- Quality Management
- Ensure implementation of the approved Project Quality Plan (PQP) at site.
- Monitor compliance with approved Method Statements (MOS), ITPs, QAPs, and customer specifications.
- Ensure all activities comply with Siemens Energy Quality Management System.
- Verify adherence to IEC standards, customer specifications, and project documentation.
- Site Installation Quality
- Monitor GIS installation activities as per approved procedures.
- Verify alignment, leveling, torque values, cleanliness, and assembly practices.
- Ensure foreign material exclusion (FME) practices are followed.
- Verify completion of all mandatory site preconditions before installation.
- Gas Handling Quality
- Monitor SF6 gas handling activities.
- Verify gas purity, moisture (dew point), leakage rate, and gas quality.
- Review gas handling records and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and SF6 handling procedures.
- Testing & Commissioning Quality
- Witness and verify:
- HV Testing
- Partial Discharge (PD) Testing
- Contact Resistance Measurement (CRM)
- Timing Tests
- Functional Checks
- Interlocking Verification
- Gas Density Monitoring
- Review and approve test reports before submission.
- Ensure testing complies with IEC 62271 and project specifications.
- Documentation
- Maintain quality records.
- Review installation checklists.
- Review pre-commissioning checklists.
- Verify inspection reports.
- Maintain punch list status.
- Prepare quality dossiers.
- Ensure document traceability.
- NCR & Quality Improvement
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where applicable.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Track closure of quality observations.
- Participate in lessons learned activities.
- Customer Coordination
- Coordinate inspections with customers and consultants.
- Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) activities.
- Present quality documentation during inspections.
- Address customer quality concerns.
- Site Audits
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Perform daily quality surveillance.
- Verify compliance with Quality Hold Points.
- Support external customer audits.
- Training & Awareness
- Conduct quality toolbox talks.
- Train supervisors on installation quality requirements.
- Promote "Right First Time" execution.
- Share quality alerts and lessons learned.
- EHS & Compliance
- Ensure activities comply with EHS requirements.
- Verify proper PPE usage.
- Ensure safe execution during HV testing and gas handling.
- Support Zero Harm initiatives.
