Working closely with the Programme Manager and project teams, you will help ensure project milestones, interfaces, and deliverables are effectively planned, monitored, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions.

As Programme Management Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining and controlling the integrated project schedule, providing planning expertise, schedule analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making. Your work will contribute directly to project performance by ensuring accurate forecasting, progress measurement, risk identification, and schedule optimization across multiple project disciplines.

You will:

  • Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives, contractual requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of scheduling processes, procedures, and planning standards across all phases of project delivery.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs from engineering, delivery, installation, commercial, and site teams, ensuring accurate and timely updates to project programmes.
  • Analyse project progress, identify schedule risks, conflicts, and deviations, and recommend mitigation and recovery measures to support achievement of key milestones.
  • Prepare detailed planning outputs including look-ahead schedules, interface programmes, resource-loaded schedules, and progress tracking reports.
  • Perform schedule performance analysis, critical path reviews, earned value assessments, and variance analysis to support project controls and decision-making.
  • Support claim preparation and claim defence activities through schedule analysis and forensic planning techniques.
  • Prepare project reports and time-related performance metrics, including milestone tracking, S-curves, progress measurement, and executive-level schedule reporting.

Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow:

  • Engineering degree, technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience in project planning and controls.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Scheduler or Planning Engineer within major infrastructure, transportation, engineering, or rail projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including development and management of complex integrated project schedules.
  • Experience preparing planning deliverables and schedule submissions in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls, and programme management methodologies.
  • Experience in progress measurement, earned value management, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex project data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Vietnamese language skills would be advantageous.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within a dynamic project environment.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and project success.
