Knowledge for the world of tomorrow.

We are looking for a Content Production & Social Media Manager (f/m/d) who combines a strong visual eye with the strategic foresight to shape Peter Körte’s online presence in the right channels and format.
This is a hands-on role combining visual production, channel development, and performance. You’ll edit images and videos, build a rolling editorial plan, improve existing channels, and explore new touchpoints – from blogs and online media platforms to emerging social formats. What you can create and learn matters more than seniority.
What you'll love about us

  • An attractive remuneration package
  • Access to Siemens share plans
  • 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard
  • Up to 30 days workation per year in certain countries
  • 30 days of paid vacation and a variety of flexible work schedules that allow time off for you and your family
  • Flexible training opportunities for both your professional and personal development that you can tailor to your interests

Since each of over 300,000 team members feels that other benefits are particularly important, and we cannot list our entire benefit portfolio here, you can find more information here.

The individual benefits are subject to regulatory, contractual, or corporate conditions.

You’ll break new ground by

  • Translate Peter Körte’s overall positioning into a practical digital channel approach across LinkedIn, blogs, online media platforms, and other relevant touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain a rolling editorial plan that connects themes, moments, formats, publishing cadence, and channel objectives – in close coordination with editorial and project colleagues.
  • Create and edit platform-native visual content, from images and carousels to short videos and simple animations, and adapt it for different formats, audiences, and brand requirements.
  • Capture lightweight photo and video content around events, visits, and interviews using a smartphone or camera and handle simple setups for framing, lighting, and audio.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing, profiles, tagging, quality checks, and community engagement, ensuring a consistent and accurate digital presence.
  • Monitor channel performance, define useful KPIs, and turn insights into tests and practical improvements for reach, engagement, and relevance.
  • Scout and assess new platforms and publishing opportunities based on audience fit, editorial potential, effort, and reputational value.

Your defining qualities

  • Education
A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a comparable field
  • Experience & Skills
    • First years of working experience in digital communications or social media is enough if your work shows judgment and learning agility.
    • Hands-on production skills. You are confident with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, or comparable software.
    • Digital channel thinking. You understand how social, owned, and external channels work together and can turn positioning into a practical channel plan.
    • Editorial planning skills. You can build a workable content calendar, balance always-on communication with key moments, and keep a reliable publishing rhythm.
    • An analytical mindset. You are comfortable with platform metrics, useful KPIs, and simple reporting and can turn data into clear recommendations and experiments.
    • A strong visual portfolio. Your work demonstrates a good eye for composition, typography, pacing, and platform-native storytelling across images and video.
  • Ways of working
    • Curiosity and platform instinct. You follow digital culture, recognize emerging communities and formats, and assess new channels based on fit rather than hype.
    • A collaborative, structured approach. You communicate clearly, welcome feedback, and keep plans, approvals, assets, and stakeholders moving with attention to detail.
  • Languages
Business-fluency in English is a requirement, German is a plus.

You are much more than your qualifications, and we believe in the potential of every single candidate. We look forward to getting to know you!
