For Mobility ZDRE JV Factory in Taiyuan, we are looking for Production Department Manager to shape the connected Mobility with us.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for manufacturing including overhaul manufacturing of gearboxes to achieve the organization’s short and long-term business objectives. Responsible for implementation of the relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the equipment and facilities in the factory.
  • Responsible for the formulation and tracking of production plans and material requirements planning to ensure the stability of supply chain delivery.
  • Responsible for strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement production systems and processes to achieve organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
  • Responsible for production budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
  • Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of installation activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as production, machine and facility management, planning, or warehouse.
  • Cooperate with functional or operational area managers (for example in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
  • Ensure implementation state of the art standards for EHS, occupational safety and production quality in cooperation with the related departments.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

What do you need to qualify for this job? 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical or electrical related.
  • 5 years and above experience in manufacturing/technology/supplier chain. At least being a manager for multinational companies or multiple teams over a period of 3 years.
  • Excellent English communication skill.
  • Strong leadership and capacity of planning, organizing and coaching.
