Position Overview
Siemens is seeking a Data Center Enterprise Account Manager to accelerate automation-focused growth in one of the world’s fastest-expanding infrastructure markets. In this role, you will lead strategic account growth, coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams, position Siemens’ industry-leading automation platforms, and serve as a trusted partner to hyperscale and colocation customers.
The ideal candidate brings the discipline of enterprise sales, the credibility to engage technical decision-makers, and the leadership skills to align internal teams, partners, and customers around high-value growth opportunities. Success in this role requires the ability to influence specifications, navigate complex ecosystems, and lead pursuits from early design engagement through lifecycle expansion.
This role is central to expanding Siemens’ influence across data center standards, specifications, partner ecosystems, and multi-site growth opportunities. You will develop and manage assigned data center customers, with a focus on automation for white-space, grey-space, and supporting infrastructure. Working directly with colocation providers, hyperscalers, and design-build contractors, you will also align with A&E firms, general contractors, EPCs, and MEP firms to influence designs and drive adoption of Siemens solutions that support highly available, scalable, energy-optimized data center operations.
Preferred location near a major data center customer base, with remote flexibility available for highly qualified candidates.
Data Center Enterprise Account Manager
This position will be remote in San Francisco metro area
Role Description
You’ll make an impact by:
- Acting as the internal orchestrator across Siemens business units by aligning sales, application engineering, solution architects, product specialists, legal, finance, operations, and executive sponsors to deliver cohesive, enterprise-wide solutions.
- Developing and executing long-term account strategies and business plans that connect customer priorities, competitive differentiation, and measurable growth.
- Driving customer value by identifying cross-business opportunities, aligning Siemens capabilities to customer priorities, and converting technical differentiation into commercial growth.
- Cultivating strategic relationships across assigned accounts by engaging engineering, operations, facilities, procurement, senior management, and C-suite decision-makers.
- Leading complex pursuits from early specification influence through award, delivery alignment, lifecycle support, and expansion across sites and programs.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through clear communication, collaboration, and influence without authority.
- Using CRM tools, pipeline reporting, and account insights to manage performance, improve forecast visibility, and support strategic decision-making.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of proven success in strategic account management or enterprise sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- 5+ years leading cross-functional teams or initiatives, either through direct management or influence-based leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically in the U.S. based on business needs.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years in sales, business development, or strategic account leadership within data centers, semiconductor, mission-critical infrastructure, industrial automation, OEM equipment, or complex electrical controls environments.
- 5+ years working knowledge of Siemens or comparable automation technologies such as PLCs, SCADA/HMI, drives, industrial networking, cybersecurity, power distribution, or control systems.
- 5+ years experience building relationships across hyperscalers, colocation providers, semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, A&E firms, EPCs, design-build contractors, distributors, or MEP stakeholders.
- 5+ years ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, sequence-of-operation documents, and project requirements to connect Siemens value to customer needs and competitive differentiation.
- Proven success orchestrating complex pursuits across sales, application engineering, solution architects, product specialists, legal, finance, operations, and executive sponsors.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing account plans, opportunity strategies, executive relationships, and multi-year growth plans.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven account planning.

The pay range for this position is 100603.00 - 225706.00 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
