In Egypt, Siemens Mobility is delivering one of the country’s first high-speed rail system. Today, we are recruiting for Quality Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Manage daily quality activities in line with the project quality plan, monitor quality targets based on critical project factors, and define appropriate methods and tools in accordance with standards and contractual requirements.
• Participate in site inspections and ensure readiness and compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and surveillances to monitor and confirm compliance of construction activities, identifying and reporting potential issues, deviations, and non-compliance in a timely manner.
• Support in the preparation of comprehensive monthly quality report by consolidating relevant data, observations, and key quality performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Assist in developing and refining quality processes and procedures contributing to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting the development of innovative Quality applications and tools.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure a shared understanding of quality requirements and to facilitate effective implementation of quality control measures.
• Review and verify project documentation for quality-related aspects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project and Siemens standards.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Project Quality Management.
• ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification is a plus
• Technical knowledge of rail solutions is a plus.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
