Siemens is looking for a Sr. Director, Systems Operations – Central to lead the Central cluster of the SI EP NA Systems factory network, with full operational accountability for Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, and a to be named Greenfield site. The role owns safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance across the cluster while scaling capacity to sustain the Systems segment's aggressive growth trajectory.

This role carries a significant BUILD mandate, including the standup of new production at the Greenfield site. It is responsible for translating growth demand into reliable, profitable execution, standardizing operations under the OpsEdge operating model, and developing a strong leadership bench across the cluster.

You will make an impact by:

Safety, Quality & Compliance:

  • Champion a zero-tolerance safety culture and ensure EH&S standards are met or exceeded across all cluster sites.
  • Ensure product quality and process compliance in alignment with Quality and OpsEdge standards.

Operational Execution & Delivery:

  • Own end-to-end production performance across the cluster, including on-time delivery, output, and lead-time targets.
  • Drive daily management, escalation, and problem-solving to keep factory execution stable and predictable.
  • Balance capacity, staffing, and material readiness to meet customer commitments.

Financial & Business Performance:

  • Own the cluster operating budget, productivity, and cost-out targets, delivering results aligned to the Systems segment plan.
  • Manage conversion cost, labor, and overhead performance while protecting margin during growth.

Capacity, Growth & New Production Standup:

  • Lead the standup of new Greenfield facility, ensuring on-time ramp, capability build, and quality at launch.
  • Plan and execute capacity expansions to sustain Systems segment growth, coordinating CapEx and ramp with the Project Office.
  • Support product transfers and new line introductions across the cluster.

Continuous Improvement & OpsEdge:

  • Deploy and sustain the OpsEdge operating model, lean production system, and continuous-improvement methodology across all cluster sites.
  • Standardize KPIs and drive improvements in OEE, productivity, and flow.
  • Share lessons learned and implement best practices across the factory network.

People Leadership & Talent Development:

  • Build a strong leadership bench, including plant management structure, succession, and technical trades development.
  • Foster an engaged, high-performing, and accountable operations culture across the cluster.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Operations Supply Chain, Quality & EHS, Operations Transformation & Technology, and the Project Office to align priorities and execution.
  • Coordinate with Segment, Finance, and commercial teams to align demand, capacity, and delivery commitments.

You’ll win us over with the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field; Master's/MBA a plus.
  • 12+ years of manufacturing/operations experience, including multi-site or complex plant leadership.
  • Proven experience scaling capacity, standing up new production, or leading factory ramp/greenfield activity preferred.
  • Strong track record leading and developing teams of professionals and front-line leaders.
  • Knowledge of lean/Six Sigma, operational excellence systems, and P&L/cost management.

Working Relationships:

  • Reports to Senior VP of Operations EP NA
  • Directly leads the plant management teams of Grand Prairie Systems, Fort Worth, and to be named Greenfield site.
  • Matrixed collaboration required on a project-by-project basis. Coordination frequently required with team members and experts from Operations Supply Chain, Quality & EHS, Operations Transformation & Technology, the Project Office, Segment, and Finance, etc.

The pay range for this position is $275,000 - $330,000 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
