What will you do?
Maximize sustainable Economic Value Added (EVA) contribution by integrating preferred suppliers, emerging technologies, and AI-driven insights early in the project lifecycle. Apply Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) methodologies and the Siemens Procurement Sourcing (SPR) Process to support Design to Cost (DTC), Redesign to Cost (RDTC), and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives. Drive formal global procurement processes that align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Technology Integration
    • Introduce and leverage the latest market technologies through strategic supplier partnerships.
    • Ensure early involvement of suppliers in product development to optimize cost, quality, and innovation.
  • Project Leadership
    • Lead complex projects such as DTC, RDTC, NPI, and Cost Avoidance Opportunities (CAO).
    • Implement target costing and cost optimization strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Global Procurement Alignment
    • Integrate Siemens Global Procurement processes into business unit and segment activities.
    • Execute sourcing strategies and action plans to meet defined KPIs and business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive initiatives that enhance supplier performance, reduce risk, and improve overall procurement efficiency.
  • Digitalization & AI Adoption
    • Leverage AI-enabled tools and digital procurement technologies to improve supplier selection, sourcing effectiveness, and cost optimization.
    • Utilize advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven insights to identify cost reduction and risk mitigation opportunities.
    • Champion digital transformation initiatives within Procurement and Supply Chain functions.
    • Promote automation and data-driven decision-making across sourcing and supplier management processes.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 3 of experience managing medium- to high-impact projects in procurement or supply chain.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing practices and supplier technology integration.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Early Supplier Involvement and Design to Cost methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning, and digital procurement solutions applicable to sourcing, supplier development, cost analysis, and risk management.
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered tools for spend analysis, supplier intelligence, market research, cost modeling, process automation, and performance monitoring.
