Robotics Lead Developer / Software Architect

What are my responsibilities?
• Lead the technical architecture and design of robotics software solutions
• Develop and maintain interfaces between planning, execution, and runtime systems
• Design and implement scalable software layers and platform integrations
• Drive code ownership, quality, maintainability, and technical excellence
• Conduct technical code reviews and provide architectural approval and guidance
• Collaborate closely with engineering stakeholders as the primary technical counterpart
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• BSc., MSc., or PhD. in Mechatronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record with 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with C++, Python, CMake, and the design of multi-threaded and performance-critical software systems
• Experience in API and software contract design (REST, gRPC, ROS 2, OPC UA, etc.), system integration, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility management
• Experience with robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, trajectory planning, coordinate transformations, calibration workflows, and tool modeling
• Experience with modern software deployment architectures, industrial edge computing, containerized applications, and GPU accelerated computing (CUDA) is plus
• Experience leading technical design discussions, performing architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional technical alignment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Knowledge of and experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies is an advantage
• Very good command of English
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
• No restriction for travelling abroad
