Cloud Service Delivery Manager, Data & AI Platforms (Azure)
We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are growing. That’s why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?
At Siemens, we're not just building technology; we're building the future. As a global powerhouse focusing on electrification, automation, and digitalization, we're constantly innovating to address the world's most pressing challenges. Join our dynamic team and be a part of a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and making a real impact.
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-centric, and financially minded Service Delivery Manager to oversee the operations, support, and financial health of Siemens' internal Enterprise AI portfolio. Instead of managing a single, dedicated platform or project, you will own the connective tissue across our entire AI ecosystem of services.
Acting as the operational champion, you will be the primary bridge between our platform engineers, SaaS vendors, and internal customers. You will establish robust service level agreements (SLAs), bring financial rigor (FinOps) to a diverse portfolio, and serve as the primary interface for internal Siemens stakeholders—including Cybersecurity (CYS), Legal & Compliance, and Audit—ensuring our suite of AI services is secure, compliant, and continuously evolving. If you have a solid understanding of multi-cloud environments, a passion for operational excellence, and a drive to influence the roadmap of cutting-edge AI infrastructure, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for Service Delivery Manager, Enterprise AI
You’ll make a difference by:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), Cloud Operations, or Technical Program/Portfolio Management within a complex enterprise environment.
- Solid foundational understanding of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP) to confidently discuss infrastructure and integration needs with internal customer teams.
- Proven track record of managing and improving multi-service help desks, ticketing workflows (e.g., GitHub Projects, Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow), and establishing SLA/OLA frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in multi-cloud cost management, budgeting, and FinOps methodologies. - Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating complex enterprise governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., working with security, legal, and audit teams).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex multi-cloud, regulatory, or technical requirements into business-friendly terms.
- Direct experience working with FinOps methodologies or holding a FinOps Certified Practitioner credential.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud billing tools, cloud budgeting software, or SaaS consumption tracking tools.
- Strategic understanding of the enterprise AI operating layer, including LLM Gateways, specialized GCP architectures (Gemini, Vertex, Agents), and AI observability tools (such as Arize)
You’d describe yourself as:
- Portfolio Service Delivery & Support Excellence: Own the end-to-end customer support lifecycle for our entire Enterprise AI portfolio. Establish, monitor, and continuously improve support processes, ticket resolution times, and customer satisfaction metrics to ensure internal Siemens teams receive world-class, unified support across all services.
- Financial Management & Portfolio FinOps: Act as the financial custodian of the portfolio. Own multi-vendor budget forecasting, track monthly actuals versus budgets, manage the internal chargeback/showback mechanisms, and partner with engineering to execute cost-optimization opportunities across hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS models (OpenAI, Gemini Enterprise).
- Stakeholder & Compliance Governance: Act as the primary point of contact for critical internal Siemens governance bodies, including Cybersecurity (CYS), Legal & Compliance, and Audit. Ensure that our infrastructure templates, automated provisioning processes, and gateway routing rules comply with all internal policies, data privacy regulations, and audit controls.
- Roadmap Alignment & Product Advocacy: Gather feedback, pain points, and feature requests from internal customer teams consuming enterprise AI. Translate these user needs and compliance requirements into actionable technical requirements, actively collaborating with product owners to influence the overall AI operating layer development roadmap.
- Operational Governance: Develop and maintain unified operational runbooks, service catalogs, and customer-facing documentation. Facilitate regular service review meetings with internal customers and leadership to report on support SLAs, multi-cloud platform usage trends, and portfolio financial health.
