Industrial Copilots will support humans along the industrial value chain such as design, planning, engineering, operations and services. Our main focus is the Industrial Copilot for Engineering.

The Engineering Copilot is an AI-supported assistant for engineering with the TIA Portal. This Copilot is a chatbot that acts as a bridge connecting your local TIA Portal engineering system with your Azure OpenAI services. This chatbot allows users to ask questions about TIA Portal automation tasks, provides code generation support for Simatic PLCs and guides users through the creation of a WinCC Unified visualization. Answers are provided via Azure OpenAI Services and users have the option to integrate the results directly into their ongoing TIA Portal projects.

With our solutions we give support in generating PLC codes, creating WinCC Unified Screens and establishing TIA Documentation Search.

We are looking for a new trainee who will join our office in Budapest:

Trainee Industrial Copilot Backend Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities:

• Participating in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning

• Work on an industrial Copilot project with the benefit of gaining hands-on experience

• Develop and test new features with the guidance of senior engineers

• Build quick prototypes and validate your ideas

• Help fix bugs and improve product quality

• Learn how to collaborate in an international project environment

• Suggest ideas to make our team and work even better

Requirements:

• Ongoing bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields

• Some coding experience with C# and .NET (e.g., from university, personal projects, or internships)

• Good English skills - you’ll use it every day

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment

Advantages:

• A basic understanding of AI and Cloud technologies and curiosity to learn more

• Familiar with Git and version control

• Familiarity with Python, frontend technologies, or Azure Cloud
