We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Entry-Level Functional Test Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in electrical engineering and a passion for hands-on testing, diagnostics, and continuous improvement. You will support the validation and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and contribute to the development of robust testing protocols in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


As a Functional Test Engineer, you will:

  • Execute functional and integrity tests on electronic control systems and sub-assemblies.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of test stands and equipment for production and validation testing.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and assist in identifying root causes through circuit diagnostics and data analysis.
  • Document test results and support the development of standardized testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve test coverage and reliability.
  • Support automation of test script generation and contribute to digital operations improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with functional testing of electronic systems and basic failure analysis techniques.
  • Exposure to tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or C++.
  • Understanding of circuit board components and basic diagnostic methods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or willingness to obtain).
  • ISO 9001:2015 awareness or training.
  • Experience with Agile development practices.

The pay range for this position is $54,180 - $92,880 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
