Job Overview
We are looking for a Software Sales Account Manager to drive SaaS and Hybrid SaaS revenue within a defined set of named accounts and new logo prospects. You will be responsible for generating new subscription businesses as well as expanding and renewing existing customer relationships, contributing directly to ARR growth.
Operating within the Integrated Country Plan, you will use a strategic, value‑based sales approach to build account plans, manage opportunities across the full sales cycle, and coordinate cross‑functional teams, including internal experts and partners, to deliver customer value.
Responsibilities
Account & Territory Management
- Own a portfolio of 15–20 small to mid‑size named accounts and new logo prospects, with a personal sales quota
- Develop account strategies aligned to customer buying journeys, prioritizing opportunities based on business impact
- Drive land‑and‑expand opportunities while minimizing churn
- Participate in regular account reviews and present account health and plans to sales and country leadership
Sales Execution & Opportunity Management
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline, from prospecting through close, renewal, and expansion
- Lead customers through the buying process using value‑based messaging tailored to different stakeholders
- Prepare quotes, manage contracts, and support negotiations
- Define customer success plans and ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success after close
Prospecting & Discovery
- Generate and qualify leads through campaigns, outbound activity, and social selling
- Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers within target accounts
- Assess customer needs, ROI potential, and solution fit across the DISW portfolio
Team Orchestration
- Coordinate matrixed teams (internal resources and partners) across the sales cycle
- Align messaging and solution positioning to deliver a consistent customer value story
- Collaborate closely with Customer Outcomes and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and customer records in Salesforce
- Participate in win/loss reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support RFx and proposal responses as needed
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
- Share customer, industry, and solution knowledge within the sales organization
- Mentor junior sales colleagues and partner resellers where appropriate
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience
- Experience in manufacturing software sales
- Proven SaaS sales experience
Core Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of software sales processes and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Business and commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfort engaging customers at line‑management level, with exposure to senior leadership
Scope & Working Conditions
- Local Sales Account Orchestrator role with a personal revenue quota
- Revenue mix: ~70% new logo / 30% existing customers (renewals and expansion)
- Office or home‑office based, with travel to customer sites as needed

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The total cash compensation range for this position is $114,200 to $217,000 with 40% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers health and wellness benefits to employees. This position is for an existing vacancy.
