We are looking for a Senior Director of the Project Management Organization for Electrical Products. This position reports to the Head of Apparatus. The successful candidate will interface with both internal and external customers to execute complex programs. This position allows for remote working with some work travel will be required.
- Achievement & Results Orientation Able to identify complex problems, analyze options, and reach positive, effective, and practical solutions
- Customer Service Orientation Works well with Internal and External customers utilizing strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Industry Knowledge Understands our Channels of Distribution Direct and Indirect and is aware of risk of litigation, makes key managers aware of and works to mitigate exposure from affiliates, distribution, Joint Ventures, EPC, and General Contractors
- Develop ability to cut through the clutter to see and address the real issues facing the Project Stakeholders
- Perspective: See clearly beyond their own vantage point across functional areas specifically manufacturing facilities in order to successfully coordinate related products
- Communication: Effectively and efficiently communicate knowledge across functional areas both with internal and external Project Stakeholders
- Resourcefulness: Exhibit creative ways to make things happen with less authority and fewer resources
- Accountability & Responsibility for Results: Understand the difference between fault and responsibility throughout the life of the project and accept ultimate accountability for project results.
You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 100-150 experienced Directors, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Specialists.
- Collaborate on incoming orders with application engineering and sales teams.
- Drive process improvement.
- Grow Team.
- Serve as the escalation point for customers and sales team.
- Serve as an escalation point for directors.
- Provide coaching to project management team.
- Provide leadership for internal team collaboration and external organizations.
- Drive change throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations.
- Providing skills in reading, understanding and executing complex contracts & terms.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Engineering or Business.
- 10 plus years of experience with the application and concepts of electrical equipment, power distribution and construction management.
- Direct experience in personnel management.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep acumen of the construction market processes and vernacular.
- Demonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Previous experience managing managers of managers in electrical products.
- Previous experience working in the EP project management organization in electrical products.
- Understanding of Siemens Systems – Compass, SAP.
- Understanding of Electrical Products and systems.

The pay range for this position is $171,217 - $293,515. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $171,217 - $293,515 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
