Lead Test Design Professional

Position Title: Lead Test Design Professional
Salary: $174,271 to $197,800 / Year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week
Summary of Duties: Serve as technical QE lead for Data Collection Modules for the EnergyIP product, including AMI Adapters, Device Reads Processor, and Device Events Processor (VEE). Develop complex project test strategy, test plan, and test execution for Data Collection Modules. Lead automation architecture and design for test automation for Data Collection modules using Ruby and Java languages. Liaise with Development, Product Management, and Architecture teams to understand the requirements, ensure complete test coverage and quality product delivery. Responsible for post deploy CI Integration Automation for Data Collection Module. Drive product testability into product requirements. Agile sprint execution. Define and manage quality assurance processes and procedures. Deploy Product-SaaS solutions and work on AWS infrastructure. Remote work permitted.
Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Test Engineer, Systems Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Serving as technical QE lead for Data Collection Modules for Energy IP or a similar utility meter data management product; Database access, manipulation, and testing with Oracle and Hadoop technologies using SQL queries; Java, Python and Ruby; Testing experience with Rest and SOAP web services using tools like SOAP UI, Advanced Rest Client and Postman; Manual testing capabilities across enterprise applications; Unix/Linux debugging skills; Experience working in Linux and Windows environments; Kafka, Zookeeper, and Kraft for distributed streaming and data processing; Tools like Selenium and JMeter; Experience in automation of Rest API; Deploying Product-SaaS solutions and working on AWS infrastructure. Remote work permitted.
