Your mission will be…
  • Ensure that our customers' needs are translated into technical solutions using our high-quality equipment. Your solutions will help manage fire safety situations and risks for our end customers;
  • Create offers and quotations for new installations, modernizations, or major expansions of fire alarm and evacuation systems. This includes complex clients such as hospitals, industries, hotels, and other facilities requiring security solutions;
  • Determine the possibilities of certain security solutions and discuss these with colleagues from sales and execution. If information is missing, you will ensure it is obtained;
  • If solutions are needed that fall outside our department's standards, you will seek out those solutions and consult with the product manager. You will gather all this information and include it in your proposal;
  • Technically responsible for the solution. When creating a quotation, you will work closely with the account manager, who is commercially responsible, and the business administrator, who is financially responsible. If your work is successful, you will ensure a precise project handover to the Project Manager and Software Engineer.
 
 
We are looking for someone with…
  • At least an MBO diploma, HBO working and thinking level, preferably in electrical or electronic engineering;
  • Willingness to obtain addition vertification that could be needed, like Project Design for Fire Alarm Systems (BMI), Evacuation Alarm Systems (OAI) and/or VOL VCA diploma;
  • Work experience in a fire safety environment;
  • Knowledge of old and new technology in fire alarm systems, preferably;
  • Interest in or knowledge of other safety installations, such as extinguishing gas, evacuation alarms, sprinklers, ASD systems and linear temperature detection;
  • Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written, and good command of English;
  • Affinity with software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Visio), networks, and the digital world;
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of ownership;
  • Strong communication skills, collegiality, stress resistance, and the ability to stand firm and express your opinion.
