Customer Solution Architect – Siemens eMobility
About Siemens e-Mobility
Siemens e-Mobility is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure and is committed to creating a smart, efficient and innovative charging infrastructure that supports sustainable mobility for the future. We are seeking a seasoned solution-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between technical solutions and commercial strategy, ensuring that our e-Mobility charging concepts and systems deliver value and confidence to our customers.
Role Objective
In this role you will support sales across all phases of the sales process as a technical advisor to sales teams and customers – providing design input for e-Mobility charging concepts and solutions and contributing to the preparation of technical proposal documents. Act as a bridge between technical solutions and sales strategies by advising consultants and key stakeholders on the optimal implementation of our e-Mobility products and services.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
You will oversee and safeguard order execution, installation and commissioning processes to manage customer and partner expectations.
Serve as an advisor in complex customer service engagements, supporting and facilitating interactions between customers, partners and Siemens head-quarter functions.
This role demands deep understanding of e-Mobility charging technologies, ecosystems and implementation processes, and the ability to translate these into clear, actionable recommendations that enhance customer confidence in the proposed approach.
You will also:
- Provide expert guidance and technical advice to consultants, customers, partners and other key stakeholders, ensuring awareness of Siemens’ e-Mobility charging products and solutions and adoption of optimal solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
- Conduct technical presentations and workshops to demonstrate product capabilities and benefits.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, product developments and regulatory/legislative changes, ensuring continuous enhancement of our technical offering.
- Develop and maintain strong product expertise to elevate customer interactions.
- Support sales teams in planning and participation in exhibitions and industry events.
Tender Support, Solution Design & Development
- Collaborate closely with sales and customer service teams to develop customised solutions for complex tenders, including development and completion of technical specifications and solution design.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to relevant international and regional standards and legislation, providing compliant and sustainable options for clients.
- Align with Head Office/Global on matching available solutions with market demands and emerging trends.
Order Execution, Project Implementation & Supervision
- Onboard new customers including support for commissioning, back-end integration and software support.
- Oversee deliveries and supervise installations once a project is sold, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and client expectations — including coordinating site deliveries when needed.
- Provide customer support and assistance in claims and change-order management.
- Perform and document lessons learned, propose process and product improvements, and support Non-Conformance handling.
Your Profile
- University degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical, Business Administration or a relevant technical field.
- Significant experience (typically 5-10 years or more) in technical pre-sales/solution architecture roles within the e-Mobility, electric-vehicle charging, energy infrastructure or building systems sectors.
- Deep understanding of e-Mobility charging technologies, ecosystems, standards and implementation processes.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solution blueprints and customer-facing deliverables.
- Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills; ability to lead discussions with C-level and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident working in international and multicultural teams.
- Willingness to travel as required (customer sites, installations, partner meetings, events).
- Self-driven, analytical, with a strong commercial mindset—able to act as trusted advisor and problem-solver.
- Proficient in English; additional languages (e.g., Swedish, German) are a plus.
- Experience with training/enablement of partners and customers is a plus.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work in a global company at the forefront of sustainable mobility, with access to cutting-edge technology and ambitious projects.
- A role with significant responsibility and visibility — able to directly influence customer outcomes and the success of strategic solutions.
- Competitive compensation package, including performance bonus, pension and benefits aligned with market standards.
