At Siemens Healthineers Llanberis, situated at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales, we are the sole manufacturer of IMMULITE reagents, used in blood analysers to aid the diagnoses and treatment for patients. IMMULITE is a global brand in the Diagnostics industry, distributing over 950 IMMULITE products for 100 disease states and 570 allergy tests. All these products are manufactured at our Siemens Healthineers facility in Llanberis and shipped to our European and American Distribution Centres for onward distribution to labs and clinics in over 50 countries worldwide.
Apply now for the position of Critical Raw Material Manufacturing Summer Intern to join us in contributing towards improving and optimising our processes alongside our highly skilled technical and manufacturing teams. We will provide the opportunity for you to understand the basis of our Molecular Biology and Biochemistry processes and their application in a commercial setting.
Your role:
- You will assist in data collection and analysis as a part of identifying process improvements.
- You will learn about the processes for change in a regulated industry setting.
- You will be able to take ownership of actions required to implement improvements with the support of your project team.
- You will collaborate with colleagues across different CRMM and wider organizational departments to deliver improvements.
This will be a site-based role 5 days per week.
About you:
- You will be an undergraduate student currently studying a towards a Bachelors or Masters in a Biological science discipline
- You should have a flexible and pragmatic working approach, open to learning on the role in a short space of time
- You should be self-motivated with good time management skills
- You will be competent and comfortable in a Laboratory based environment
- You should have experience of working within a team
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working in the healthcare industry
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship, starting in Summer 2026 and valid until at least the end of August 2026 (to cover 3 month internship duration).
