Job Posting : VAT Compliance & Data Analytics Expert

Using your expertise, you will be responsible for:

• Manage end-to-end Korean VAT compliance including preparation, filing, payment, and refund processes
• Reconcile VAT GL account with e-tax invoice through data extraction and analysis using SAP ERP system
• Prepare VAT related journal entries for month-end and quarterly closing
• Provide accurate VAT consulting to business units in accordance with Korean VAT law
• Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and submit required documentation
• Communicate with external vendors regarding tax invoice issuance
• Drive process improvement and enhance VAT reporting accuracy through data analytics and automation tools
• Experiences to make productive tasks via AI tool such as MS Copilot, Open AI etc
• Support German and EU VAT filings via cooperation with HQ colleagues and refund applications annually

• Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in Korean VAT compliance (preparation, filing, payment/refund) in large multinational or similar environment (At least +3 years’ experience required)
• Practical working experience with SAP ERP system in finance/accounting (Required)
• Strong ability to reconcile large data sets between SAP and e-tax invoice sources using data analytics and automation tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate etc.) (Highly preferred)
• Passionate about digital innovation and technology
• Fluency in English communication (Preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit
