Founded in 1922, the SGP (Siemens Graduate Program) is designed as an intensive and internationally oriented two-year program, the SGP will prepare you for future leadership tasks, offering both flexibility and diverse work experiences. The program, which enables you to actively integrate your interests and your qualifications, consists of three challenging assignments. At least one of these assignments will take place abroad at one of our 1,700 international business locations. On this international rotation, you will learn about the local business and culture while taking on various responsibilities and project work. 

What are your responsibilities? 
  • Deep Dive into Drives Market: Gaining profound insights into our drive products from technical, business, and market perspectives, understanding customer needs and competitive landscapes. 
  • Crafting Drives Product Strategy: Developing a clear and compelling product strategy specifically for the drives within our Electrical Products portfolio, covering product definition, pricing, market placement, and promotional activities. 
  • Driving Drives Product Success: Actively supporting and empowering both internal and external stakeholders to achieve outstanding market success for our drive products across relevant global markets.  
  • Strategic Reporting for Drives: Extracting critical product strategy intelligence related to drives and effectively reporting these insights to global management and our Headquarter teams. 
  • Shaping Future Drives Portfolio: Collecting, meticulously analyzing, and formulating precise product requirements for drives. You'll then professionally communicate these with product owners and R&D to drive the development of new drive portfolios or optimize existing drive products for global application. 
  • Championing Global Drives Promotion: Unearthing key selling points for our drive products and creating compelling 'winning guides' to proactively lead and support their promotion and market penetration worldwide. 
You’ll win us over by:  
  • Master's, Doctoral Degree or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or similar, coupled with knowledge in Electrical Drives combined with significant practical work experience and knowledge from internships, working student activities etc.  
  • Minimum of 4 months of international experience gained through studying, working, etc. 
  • Flexibility and mobility within the program duration 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Focus, resilient and persistent, high sense of ownership, accountability 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, conflict management 
  • Innovation 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies 
  • Presentation and story-telling skills
