Your mission will be…
  • In this role, you will play a critical part in making sure that the cybersecurity of delivered substation automation systems by Siemens meets required standards, industry regulations, and best practices. 
  • Lead the cybersecurity assessments, design, implementation, and validation of substation automations projects. 
  • Ensure compliance with 62443 and relevant regulatory requirements for Critical Infrastructure. 
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, threat models, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments tailored to power energy environment. 
  • Conduct security reviews and gap analyses of substation automation systems and network architecture. 
  • Work closely with customers, design engineers, commissioning and operations teams to implement secure system configurations and mitigate cyber risks. 
  • Oversee cybersecurity audits, participate in penetration testing efforts, and ensure all findings are addressed in a timely manner. 
  • Provide training and awareness to internal/external stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and compliance needs.

We are looking for someone with…
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IEC 62443 Expert, CISSP, CISM, GICSP) are a plus. 
  • 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within high-voltage substations and other critical infrastructure. 
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443. 
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools, secure architecture design, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems. 
  • Deep understanding of OT (Operational Technology) and ICS/SCADA cybersecurity in the power energy sector. 
  • Experience in risk management for both IT and OT environments is highly advantageous. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized. 
  • Willingness to travel globally. 
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
