Then come and join our global team as Global Senior L&D Operations Expert (f/m/d), to design, lead and continuously improve the operational backbone that enables world-class learning across our global workforce
In this role, you will serve as the business owner for our global learning platforms (LMS & LXP) and drive the systems, processes and data insights that make learning seamless, scalable and impactful. You will partner across functions and regions to create a globally consistent yet locally relevant learner experience and help our people grow the skills that ultimately improve patients’ lives around the world.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Build and Optimize Global Learning Infrastructure
You are responsible to design, refine, and govern global L&D processes, standards, and toolkits to ensure consistency and scale. Hereby you will act as the operational lead for global training campaigns and partner with regional teams to embed best practices.
- Own and Evolve Learning Platforms
You will serve as business owner for global learning platforms (Cornerstone preferred), defining strategy, governance, and roadmap. This includes ensuring smooth configuration and integration and collaborating with IT and vendors on upgrades and innovations.
- Enable Data-Driven Decisions
You are responsible for developing dashboards and reporting to track key metrics, translating data into actionable insights, and using analytics to improve learning experience and program effectiveness. This will include working with local workers councils to provide regular learning portfolio updates
- Ensure Compliance and Drive Engagement
You will oversee data privacy and compliance (including GDPR), manage vendor partnerships, and champion adoption of new systems and processes through clear communication and change management.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a university degree in Business, HR, Learning Technology, or related field.
- You have many years of professional experience in Learning & Development operations, with a focus on global systems, processes, and platforms.
- You have proven experience as a business owner or lead administrator of an LMS and/or LXP (e.g., Cornerstone preferred, but including Workday, SuccessFactors, Degreed).
- You have experience managing large-scale learning technology projects or implementations.
- You have profound skills in data analysis and reporting using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- You have demonstrated experience in collaborating with or advising regional teams in a complex, global, matrixed environment.
