YYou’ll create impact by:

  • Advising Siemens units and industrial companies in areas such as manufacturing, supply chain strategy & transformation, sourcing & procurement, material management, production, as well as logistics & distribution.
  • Working on exciting projects throughout the value chain, strategically and operationally shaping business processes.
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions and strategies in collaboration with our experienced consultants.
  • Optimizing production processes, integrate production and warehousing technologies, ensure quality and plan and execute production relocations.
  • Enhancing SCM processes, logistics networks, inbound/outbound logistics and intra-logistics effectively.
  • Support customers in optimizing procurement processes, defining and implementing commodity and negotiation strategies and introducing e-procurement solutions.
  • Developing digitalization strategies and enable the use of innovative technologies such as Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence.

This is how you’ll win us over:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • At least 3 years of solid professional experience in manufacturing, procurement, logistics or supply chain transformation.
    • Deep knowledge of SAP ERP systems with a focus on Materials Management and Distribution modules, and their application in supply chain management and procurement
    • Proven track record of implementing multi-stakeholder transformation projects with a focus on project management, change management, value stream analysis and design along the supply chain ideally proven by a PM certification (e.g. PMP certification etc.)
    • Data analytics and IT affinity, ideally with low coding knowledge
  • Ways of working:
    • High customer and service orientation.
    • Strong communication and conflict management skills.
    • Willingness to travel and execute projects at customer sites.
  • Languages: Business fluent in English; German is a plus.
