Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist for Rail Maintenance Projects in our Bangkok office. 

In this role, you will lead and manage all procurement activities throughout the entire project lifecycle for rail maintenance projects in Thailand. You will serve as the key procurement interface between project teams, business stakeholders, and the global procurement organization, ensuring alignment of project and procurement schedules.

This is your role. What part will you play?

  • Manage project-related procurement activities, integrating global category management, strategic procurement, logistics, and supplier quality.
  • Align schedules and develop procurement plans for projects, including RFQ preparation based on requirements.
  • Implement procurement and negotiation strategies to achieve KPIs, cost savings, and success in e-bidding/e-auctions.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, evaluate quotations cross-functionally, and mitigate procurement or supplier risks.
  • Drive local sourcing strategies and ensure compliance with Siemens policies and standards.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • At least a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in strategic purchasing, category management, or project management.
  • Work experience in a project-driven environment, preferably railway or engineering industry.
  • International experience and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build trust and confidence in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in system and data management (Excel, SAP, and Data analysis)
  • Business communication in English and Thai, written and spoken.
