Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Promotion
o Demonstrate strong knowledge of MV IEC standards, power system networks, fault levels, and MV AIS switchgears
o Actively drives MV products acceptance across end customers ranging from Utilities (Public/Private), Industries, and Infrastructure segments
o Lead homologation and approval for MV products
Business Development & Prescription
o Proactively map upcoming projects and investments during early stages through customer / partner engagement
o Drive engagement actions with consultants, PMCs, and end customers using a consultative selling approach
o Conduct presentations, workshops, and factory visits to generate leads via channel partners
Digitalization & IoT Advocacy
o Promote sustainable electrification and digital MV solutions (e.g., condition monitoring) through channel partners
o Support regional teams in technical sales for IoT in MV Systems 

Market Intelligence & Strategy
o Continuously analyze competitor offerings and develop strategic responses based on strengths and weaknesses
o Track government policies, investment trends, and capacity-building initiatives to identify business opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement
o Represent Siemens at industry events, fairs, and customer days to enhance brand visibility.
o Coordinate with Siemens AG and PLM teams for product development and certification tailored to the Indian market.
o Mentor regional teams in prescription, homologation, and portfolio consulting activities.

Candidate Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Full-time) in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
Experience: Minimum 15 years in Pre-sales, Business Development, Technical Sales, and Tendering for MV switchgears and solutions.
Skills & Competencies:
o Strong understanding of the Indian MV market and customer landscape
o Familiarity with IoT/digitalization solutions for MV switchgear condition monitoring
o Excellent presentation and value-based selling skills
o Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer focus
o Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive business targets
o Willingness to travel frequently across regions and countries
o Self-starter with consultative selling approach, fast learner, and effective communicator
