Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is hiring a Commercial Project Manager for our Alpharetta GA location within the Rolling Stock Components North America business segment. This role plays a critical part in supporting both current and future business opportunities.

As Commercial Project Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the commercial and financial performance of assigned projects — from execution through delivery. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet our high standards for quality.

Success in this role requires strong multitasking skills, proactive decision-making, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Share commercial profit and loss responsibility for assigned orders with the technical project manager, ensuring adherence to Siemens terms and conditions.
• Maintain and update planned costs of sales orders, while optimizing project margins, cash flow, and asset management.
• Implement foreign exchange risk mitigation, hedging strategies, and comply with international tax requirements.
• Manage commercial bid activities, including negotiating terms and conditions for external bids.
• Ensure project books are accurate and compliant with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables, aligning with senior management and partners, and handle contract compliance and scope changes proactively.
• Prepare and deliver monthly project reports and presentations to management and customers, while actively engaging with customer representatives to resolve project issues.
• Participate in procurement activities as needed, and review and approve financial documents and purchase orders according to signature authority guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent).
• Excellent collaboration and communication, strong analytical skills.
• Project management experience.
• Accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAP/ Spiridon, and MS Office, especially advanced in Excel.
• Working experience of 5 years or more in finance/ commercial functions.
• Occasional travel within the US; and Europe is possible.

The base salary range for this position in Georgia is $111,282.00 – $130,662.00 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $111,282.00 - $130,662.00 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
