We are looking for an IT Service Operations - PDMLink

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Drive the continuous adaption of the system landscape
  • Support automation of application landscape
  • support the application management for the PTC products “Windchill PDMLink” and “Windchill ProjectLink” on AWS
  • Define or configure Monitoring application
  • Usage of ticket tracking and resolving upcoming issues
  • support the operation and the continuous further development of the Windchill PDMLink landscape
  • prepare system updates and support tool analysis, tests, documentation, debugging and error correction
  • develop the knowledge base including user documentation and tests, implement and release of new features are also part of the task spectrum
  • part of IT projects; thereby use tools for the service management (e.g. ServiceNow) and test management (e.g. Polarion)

You’ll win us over by:

Mandatory Skills

  • knowledge in installation, configuration and customer specific extension of Windchill systems including interfaces to third party systems (e.g. PLM or ERP)
  • experience in Windchill PDMLink/ProjectLink
  • knowledge of implementation of PDMLink
  • knowledge of AWS Infrastructure
  • knowledge in Linux and Windows Server
  • very good English skills (minimum C1)
  • studies in computer science or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification with corresponding additional skills
  • multi-annual relevant professional IT experience (years)
  • high flexibility regarding working hours

Preferred Skills

  • experiences in software configuration based on scripting
  • customer-oriented
  • skills in service management, version management and methods to describe processes and their realization in technical uses cases, user stories and workflows
  • hardening of OS Images and Applications and Terraform knowledge would be added advantage
  • experience in the field of engineering processes, interaction with internal departments or users in construction, simulation, work preparation or manufacturing.
  • highly self-motivated
  • ability to drive change.
