Position Overview:
The Catapult Marketing team is looking for a team member to help define, promote and deploy our High-Level Synthesis (HLS) Neural Network Hardware design solutions. As a factory HLS expert, you will be part of the global Technical Marketing team reporting to the Divisional Technical Product Management Director responsible for HLS. This role will involve supporting sales and application engineering teams for the Catapult AI NN and Catapult HLS product line.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key prospects and customers to understand needs and define new technologies and techniques to create the future of HLS for the design of AI/ML hardware acceleration
- Specify features and capabilities in our tool offering in partnership with R&D developers
- Analyze and HLS designs to improve Quality of Results and improve our product offering
- Create and deliver customer training on HLS products and methodologies
- Deliver demonstrations, presentations, webinars, and attend and present at conferences such as DAC, Siemens User2User, DVCon, EdgeAI Foundation and so-on
- Be expected to travel up to 20% of the time nationally, and internationally
Excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills are needed to understand, describe and influence product requirements with our software team. Interaction with internal and customer stakeholders, in partnership with the Siemens EDA sales team is necessary for success in this role.
Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or computer science, or related field
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks, ideally with Python and application of QKeras as well as the component building blocks of AI/ML layers
- Understanding of hardware acceleration of AI/ML networks/Layers with GPU/FPGA/ASIC
- Experience of High-Level Synthesis or RTL Synthesis and design for FPGA/ASIC is a plus
- C++ and/or SystemC language basic knowledge is a plus
This position is offered either in The Bay Area at our Santa Clara site, or at our campus in Wilsonville, Oregon. Full-time in-office or Hybrid (up to three days in the office) is preferred, though for the right candidate, we can offer the role as remote in States proximate to Oregon or California.

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $162,000 annually with a target incentive of 3-5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
