Hello World, We are hiring!
We empower our people to stay resilient and relevant in a constantly changing world. We’re looking for people who are always searching for creative ways to grow and learn. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future.
Does that sound like you? Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant team.
Siemens Software, a business unit of the Siemens Digital Industries, is a leading global provider of software solutions to drive the digital transformation of industry, creating new opportunities for manufacturers to realize innovation.
About the role:
As part of this journey, our NavOps platform is redefining High-Performance Computing (HPC) in the cloud. NavOps enables seamless orchestration and cost-optimized deployment across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, OpenStack) powered by modern microservices architecture using Go and Python.
We are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer eager to build cloud solutions that empower global engineering innovation.
You'll make a difference by:
· Enhancing our microservices architecture: Define interactions and scaling strategy across NavOps services to ensure resilience, performance, and maintainability.
· Leading our technology stack upgrade: Stay ahead of modern patterns (event-driven architecture and distributed systems) and adopt best practices.
· Automating our documentation using Documentation-as-Code: Build and lead a developer-friendly documentation strategy with automation at its core.
· Driving user stories: Break down business and technical objectives into actionable development tasks and ensure alignment across teams.
· Contributing to NavOps core functions: Improve core libraries, deployment logic, security posture, and cloud efficiency.
· Strengthening CI/CD: Oversee and optimize continuous integration pipelines to accelerate delivery while safeguarding quality.
What you’ll bring:
· Solid software engineering craftsmanship with Go, Python and cloud SDKs.
· Strong experience designing microservices and event-driven systems.
· Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
· Passion for high-quality, maintainable and documented code
· A collaborative mindset — thriving in an agile, international team environment.
