We are looking for a new colleague who will join our office in Budapest:

Java software engineer

Responsibilities:

• You will work on developing and maintaining an innovativ, high-quality application with high customer satisfaction
• Participate in the software development process
• Analysing bugs and create solutions
• Co-operate with other colleagues in a multi-national team
• Reading and writing technical documentation
• Providing transparent status of the progress to project management
• Communicating with the customer during the development process
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services.
• Build and optimize user interfaces using React.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Proactive mindset, good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer oriented approach, good communication skills
• English proficiency (written and spoken)

Advantages:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest)
