Security C++ Developer

For more than three decades, SINAMICS has been a synonym for versatile electric drives. Our team supports the project by delivering cutting edge security protection of the drive software. In this role you will be challenged by designing and implementing robust software run in an embedded environment.

Responsibilities:

• You are part of an agile team that develops the security software in a highly innovative environment for embedded systems for the new generation of the SINAMICS drive platform.
• The focus of your work lies in the area of security requirements and in dealing with real-time software.
• You will work on the specification, design and review of the security architecture.
• You carry out threat analyzes and risk assessments (TRA = Threat and Risk Analysis) or participate in them.
• Together with the development teams, the product management and the platform architects, you define the implementation concepts of security requirements and work with the implementation.
• You are responsible for and accompany all phases of software development - from specification to implementation, testing, system integration and maintenance.
• You take into account the real-time requirements of our products as well as scalability and long-term maintainability.

Requirements:

• You have successfully completed a degree (diploma / master's) in computer science, electrical engineering or have a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in software development and security issues.
• You have practical experience in object-oriented software development in C ++.
• You will also score points with in-depth knowledge of cryptography and network protocols.
• You are familiar with any security standards.
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in working in an agile team.
• One of your strengths is a pronounced ability to analyze and you are enthusiastic about new technologies and constant learning.
• English knowledge (higher advanced/fit for negotiation)
