Then come and join our global team as Strategy Manager (f/m/d) and contribute towards defining the strategic direction of our company and successfully implementing the strategy.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Your main responsibility will be to lead projects of strategic relevance for Siemens Healthineers.
  • You develop strategies for organic and inorganic growth pathways to drive implementation of recommendations.
  • You evaluate strategic fit and rationale of potential acquisition projects and support the subsequent integration.
  • You lead heterogeneous project teams with team members from various units within our company.
  • You are responsible for conducting in-depth analyses related to key trends and dynamics (market, technologies, competitors, patients, etc.) and deriving actionable recommendations.
  • You ensure the implementation of recommendations in collaboration with management, business units, and functions.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully completed a master’s degree in natural sciences / engineering (preferably with a medical focus) or business.
  • You have many years of relevant experience in a strategic context, preferably from projects at leading management consulting firms or strategy/ M&A teams in corporates. Strong focus on the healthcare industry is a huge plus.
  • Alternatively, you completed a PhD in this field.
  • You have demonstrated in your career that you can define a company's strategic direction with a positive impact on growth and profitability.
  • You have proven your leadership ability in diverse teams, even without a direct leadership role across a variety of projects
  • You have gained experience in planning, initiating, and executing strategic projects.
  • You have expertise in leading cross-functional teams.


Your attributes and skills:

  • You are a strategic and creative thinker with a curious mindset.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • You convince with a methodical way of thinking as well as high analytical skills, which enable you to structure complex information and also to prepare and explain them for colleagues from other disciplines and different management levels.
  • Your experience in dealing with clients, partners, and top-level management enables you to communicate effectively with leadership.
  • You are business fluent in English (both written and spoken) to be able to communicate in an international environment. You can easily create documentation and presentations in English. German skills are a plus.
