We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our AI platform team at our Saskatoon research & development site. As part of this team, you will play a key role in developing foundational AI tools and technologies that will impact the entire Siemens EDA product portfolio. You will develop and implement AI algorithms, models, and infrastructure for electronic design automation applications. You will be involved at all stages of product lifecycle from ideation through to production deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into Siemens EDA products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be available to work from our Saskatoon facility.

Some of the following:

• Experience working with EDA tools and workflows.
• Experience working with machine learning toolkits such as scikit-learn or PyTorch.
• Experience with UI development and design using React.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
