Siemens Mobility Division provides efficient and integrated transportation of people and goods by rail and road – including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, intelligent traffic systems, and service. We design and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to provide operational and administrative support to our Project Management Office (PMO) and project teams. This role ensures the smooth execution of corporate initiatives by tracking progress, coordinating resources, managing documentation, and supporting compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized and skilled in project management tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including plans, reports, and dashboards.
  • Track project achievements and results using project management software.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
  • Maintain training, certification, and productivity documentation.
  • Support onboarding of project team members and ensure adherence to PM@Siemens standards.
  • Prepare status reports and presentations for PMO and partners.
  • Communicate updates and risks to PMO leadership.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and assist in risk mitigation.
  • Maintain PMO templates, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens policies and project methodologies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) systems
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tools and related systems, and other enterprise applications used within the organization.
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting to the PM community
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, ensuring seamless integration into project workflows.
  • Develop documentation and guides to enhance tool and process adoption
  • Collaborate with IT and PMO leadership to find opportunities for process automation and tool optimization.
  • Leverage AI to optimize outcomes and efficiently implement tasks

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in project coordination, project controls, project management, PMO support, or administrative project roles.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Project Operations, Planview, Clarity, MS Project Server, Primavera/P6, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scaled Agile).
  • Experience with training and tools support or system administration.
  • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Perplexity
  • Preferred: Experience with project performance tracking, report/dashboard creation, and PPM tools.

The pay range for this position is $74,664 - $100,878 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
