This is your role:

HAV Solutions group is currently seeking skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our innovative and forward-thinking Storage (NVMe) and interconnect Protocols (PCIe) R&D Team in Cairo, Egypt. This position offers a chance to chip in to the development of Storage protocol like "NVMe" which are implemented using C/C++ and SystemC. As part of our team, you will collaborate within an Agile Scrum methodology in a dynamic work environment that prioritizes flexibility and friendliness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and release features/products that meet functionality, usability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Develop features in GUI Frontend and Backend to serve different interconnect Protocols using C/C++, the wxWidgets/Qt framework, SystemC, Tcl, and Python.
• Identify and resolve product problems by debugging and analyzing them, applying fixes, and making enhancements.
• Integrate Software and Hardware components to create a fully functional System.
• Participate in project planning and tracking, investigate tasks, break down work, and identify risks.
• Prepare professional functional and design specification documents.
• Collaborate with expert team members to develop software using advanced technology and consistently follow standard methodologies.
• Support customers throughout all stages of the design process, from initial design bring-up sessions to post-release engagements and training.

Job Qualifications:

• We are looking out for candidates with B.Tech/M.tech or equivalent experience in Computer Science with shown experience & Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming in a Linux development environment.
• Experience with C++ GUI frameworks (Qt or wxWidgets) and general GUI concepts.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl.
• Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN) and system/unit-level testing.
• Familiarity with XML, x86 architecture, and HDLs (Verilog/VHDL) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
• Passion for software development, collaboration, and effective English communication.
