We are looking for Service Manager- IT!
The IT Service Manager role has overall responsibility for defining the service, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service lifecycle and other internal and external IT & business partners.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Identifies IT business goals, objectives and requirements of the business environment.
- Drives principal IT change projects on-site or in the region.
- Supports change-release processes and implementation of IT security guidelines.
- Manages sophisticated IT installations and updates; and completes integration to production network.
- Identifies IT problems and seeks resolutions without impact to end-user.
- Typically, responsible for managing people and engaging with end-users, while staying updated on industry developments in IT trends and technologies.
Your Defining Qualities:
- 4 to 5 years’ experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software, Linux and Unix is a plus.
- Solid understanding of VMware or other virtual software.
- Deep understanding of TCP, IP and network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other network services.
- Knowledge of disc storage Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certifications in Windows 2008 or Windows2012.
- Knowledge of Cisco network and voice gears and technologies, CCNA(P)is a must, CCIE is preferred.
- Knowledge of managing a data center in terms of systems supervising capacity management and performance tuning.
- Good ability to communicate well in English orally and in writing.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various time zones.
- Possesses expert knowledge in applying various Microsoft tools, particularly Visio, and in developing automation scripts and APIs.
