Logistics Internship
- Supporting the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) coordinator by collecting and analyzing data to support warehouse zoning and future growth planning.
- Evaluating where materials should be stored and how they move from the warehouse to production lines.
- Running reports in SAP to analyze inventory, material movement, and picking processes that support production.
- Assisting with analysis of material flow from receipt through shipment of finished goods.
- Collaborating with logistics, manufacturing engineering, and plant leadership to support data-driven logistics improvements.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and basic data analysis.
- Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
- Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Exposure to warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Interest in inventory management, material flow, or production logistics.
- Experience presenting data or insights to cross-functional teams or leadership.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour for first time Interns or $25.50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
