Business Excellence - Process & Program Intern
- Learning and applying ViFlow, a Microsoft Visio plug-in, to create clear and concise training documentation on key functionality for broader business rollout.
- Collaborating with project managers and subject matter experts across the business to develop structured process flow diagrams in support of a new Process Governance Model.
- Creating and maintaining a SharePoint site that will serve as a centralized repository for current and future process documentation.
- Meeting with stakeholders to scope process documentation needs and translate inputs into organized, standardized process flows.
- Supporting process transparency initiatives, including the potential development of a Power BI dashboard that provides visibility into project workloads and action items.
- Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or another process-focused or business-oriented field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Visio.
- Experience creating process documentation or process flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with SharePoint site organization or content management.
- Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation or data visualization.
- Technical writing experience, particularly related to process or system documentation.
- Exposure to process-oriented thinking or engineering process concepts.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple teams or functions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage work independently in a self-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SAP or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation.
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour for first time Interns or $25.50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
