Focus: Discrete Manufacturing industries
Role: Develop and pitch automation and digitalization adoption strategies for customers, aligning them precisely with their business goals, business continuity, digital transformation objectives, and sustainability targets. Drive pre-sales initiatives to secure impactful deals by identifying opportunities, crafting compelling technology roadmaps, and supporting sales teams to achieve their business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify leads, conduct discovery workshops, and uncover customer pain points in Industry 4.0, process optimization, and digital twins achieving a healthy, lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.
- Design customized technology roadmaps leveraging Siemens to deliver competitive advantages for customers.
- Act as a trusted thought partner to C-suite executives, presenting solution architectures, TCO analyses, and proof-of-concept demos to build strong pipeline.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and competitive positioning to achieve high win rates.
- Collaboration with channel partners to co-create value propositions that accelerate deal cycles and expand wallet share.
Requirements
- In depth domain knowledge in one or more manufacturing sectors – Automotive, FMCG, F&B, Aerospace / Defense, Electronics, Semiconductors. In-depth understanding on manufacturing digitalization trends and technologies.
- Ability to adopt latest technologies to solve manufacturing challenges. Able to evaluate feasibility of Technical and Technical risks of Digital Transformation and Automation projects.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems and Automations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Value engineering / Value Co creation.
- Strong Value Selling capability. Capability to promote at C Levels.
- Ability to work with Cross Business Teams.
- BE / BTech. or MBA
- Presales / Solutions Consulting background with 7/8 years of experience in working for solutions design / consulting for manufacturing automation and digitalization.
