Sr. Manager - Sales Specialist, Process Automation

Location: Baroda/Mumbai/Ahmedabad

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting product and solution for Siemens PLC, SCADA products & Solution in Central Region. 

The Sales Specialist plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth and maximizing customer value by providing technical and sales expertise. 

The Sales Specialist will closely work with Sales on big / complex opportunities to improve Siemens chances of successes. He/She will actively participate with Sales in Technical Demos / Presentations to customers, Consultants and EPC to promote Siemens Technology. 

 

Job Description:

  • Drive portfolio's technical sales strategies into and with Technical Sales
  • Lead the portfolio's technical aspects of deal structuring and closure
  • Engage with customers to understand technical and business requirements and ensure alignment with customer needs
  • Drive sales engagements with a value-driven approach
  • Provide competitive positioning insights, articulating Siemens’ value-add and technical advantages over competitors
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/ expansion and align closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales
  • Own the technology vision for the assigned market, identifying business potential for the assigned portfolio

 

How do you qualify for the role?

  • Years of Experience - 8 years+ in PLC market.
  • Education - BE Instrumentation or Electronics
  • Technical Knowledge on SIMATIC Portfolio will be added advantage.
  • Travelling needed to all customers in Central/Western Region.
  • Strong Sales / Communication Skills.
