We are looking for Senior Sales Manager - Rolling Stock (Metro, Locomotives, Commuter Rail, etc.)

You’ll make a difference by

To further strengthen the Sales team, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Sales manager with a start date as early as possible.

In this situation, we are looking for an individual both prepared and willing to work towards the sustainable success of Siemens Rolling Stock business.

  • Understand Indian Metro/Locomotives/Commuter/High Speed RS markets landscape.
  • Focus on Customer interactions, understand customer requirements and evaluate the best possible solution available.
  • Stakeholder mapping and connect in customer’s organization
  • Prepare the gap analysis & mitigations for each requirement.
  • Compliance with all applicable standard processes, like PM / LOA, EHS, Quality, etc.
  • Serving as an interface towards other teams, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, compliances etc.
  • Involve with customer for techno-commercial discussion.
  • Prepare Target pricing and strategy to achieve it.
  • Tender or other documentations review before submission to customer.
  • Participate in the contract negotiations with customers.
  • Prepare the Win/Loss Analysis of an opportunity.

Desired Skills:

  • You should have minimum experience of 8-12 years with bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical along with the Business Development, Sales Or bid experience in Mobility (Preferably Rolling Stock).
  • Basic understanding of a Rolling Stock functioning.
  • Understanding of lifecycle cost models and financing options
  • Excellent skills in English (oral and written).
