About the Role

As a Security Engineering Manager at Siemens, you will lead a team of security engineers responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and resilience of our SaaS and AI-driven solutions in Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. You will drive secure design, implementation, and operations across cloud and AI environments, focusing on protecting customer data, ensuring ethical AI use, and maintaining trust in Siemens’ digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

Lead and mentor a team of security engineers focused on SaaS and AI security operations. Define and implement security strategies aligned with Siemens’ global cybersecurity and AI governance policies. Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Security teams, and cloud architects to embed security and responsible DevOps and AI practices into the development lifecycle of tools and SaaS product. Prepare and execute security improvement plan and provide regular stakeholder updates.

Secured SaaS & AI Operations

Oversee security posture for SaaS platforms and AI services hosted on AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments. Implement and maintain security controls for identity management, encryption, network security, and AI model integrity for large scale operations Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and Siemens AI Ethics Framework.

AI-Specific Security

Develop and enforce security measures for tools adopting AI ensuring data privacy and security by design Collaborate on secure deployment of AI APIs and services, ensuring zero-trust principles.

Risk Management & Incident Response

Help conducting risk assessments and threat modeling for SaaS and AI applications. Manage vulnerability management programs and coordinate remediation efforts. Lead incident response and resolution for cloud hosted SaaS application/infrastructure and AI-based tools and services. Ensure timely resolution with RCA.

Continuous Improvement

Drive automation for security monitoring, compliance checks, vulnerability scanning, and AI model validation. Stay current with emerging threats, AI security research, and regulatory requirements for AI governance. Conduct regular internal security audits to identify and resolve the gaps

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS architectures, and AI/ML security principles.
• Hands-on experience with developing and managing teams security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, IAM solutions) and AI model security frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and MLOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
