Test & Commissioning Manager @Siemens Mobility Egypt

Today, we are recruiting for a Test & Commissioning Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What Are My Responsibilities?
- Lead and coordinate the safe, efficient execution of system testing to verify and validate all Green Line systems.
- Implement and ensure compliance with the Consortium T&C processes, V&V strategy, and Temporary Operations Management.
- Support the Consortium T&C Manager in achieving Taking Over Certificate (TOC) readiness.
- Plan and lead integration testing across all railway subsystems, including Signalling, Rolling Stock, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Radio and Communications, Driver Only Operation (DOO), and Traction Power.
- Coordinate and manage interfaces and integration issues between subsystems.
- Review and approve integration test procedures prior to submission for Consortium T&C approval.
- Oversee execution of subsystem and system-level T&C activities, including on-site testing.
- Review test reports, consolidate and manage test punch lists, and track closure of outstanding items.
- Identify, assess, and escalate gaps, risks, hazards, and system anomalies, and ensure their mapping and resolution.
- Participate in Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and other project meetings as required.
- Monitor, update, and report Green Line T&C KPIs in coordination with the Consortium T&C Manager.
- Provide weekly progress and status reports for all Green Line T&C activities.
- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across the full Green Line test scope.
What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in rail transport systems, with a strong focus on railway systems and subsystems.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning of railway systems, including system integration and interface testing.
- Demonstrated capability in planning, executing, and supervising on-site testing activities.
- Experience in writing and reviewing test procedures, reports, and integration documentation.
- Strong background in system integration within complex rail or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on major infrastructure or railway projects.
- Structured, independent working style with strong coordination and leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of mainline railway environments and operational constraints.
