What role will you play?  
As an Atlassian Operations Professional, you will strengthen our team and support the operations of our Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence environments that we run for a number of Siemens internal and external clients.

 Your new responsibilities:
• Have a good understanding of the business process that is supported by Jira and Confluence
• Support and operate Atlassian products to ensure reliable and professional operation of Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence
• Communicating with users supporting, consulting and helping them working efficiently with the Atlassian Tools 
• Educating users to work with the Atlassian Tools
• Work with other team members and users to integrate Atlassian tools with other applications securely
• Troubleshooting by evaluating logs to identify common problems, analyzing system resource utilization reports to evaluate likely causes for performance degradation
• Improve and adapt the setup and configuration of the Atlassian products 
• Consult and support the Service Owner and the Jira/Confluence team in expanding the Service

We are looking for:  
• University degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
• Written and spoken English on a proficient level is a must, additional language is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Motivation to learn new things quickly
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in IT operations & support would be good to have
• Experience in the area of Atlassian Software Suite (Jira, Confluence – DataCenter Edition) would be good to have
• Experience in working with virtual, globally distributed, multicultural teams remotely would be good to have
• Basic knowledge about cloud computing would be good to have
• Basic knowledge on agile working principles/methodologies are a plus
• Basic knowledge of ITIL principles are a plus
• Interest in Cybersecurity topics, Cybersecurity training and qualifications are a plus
