Position Overview

The Next Generation Product Management team coordinates the development of the new Modelling and Visualization (ModViz) tools within the Siemens Simcenter portfolio. These applications support a broad range of engineering roles across industries such as aerospace, automotive, agriculture, and electronics, creating an exciting challenge: meeting diverse customer needs while delivering best‑in‑class solutions. Historically, ModViz tools have focused on providing extensive capabilities for building FEA and CFD models and analyzing simulation results. With the rapid advancement of large language models and agentic AI, expectations in CAE pre‑ and post‑processing are evolving just as quickly. 
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about innovation, eager to push boundaries, and ready to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving environment. Our team serves as a crucial link between industry requirements and software development. Much of the work involves collaborating across departments and working closely with core infrastructure teams. In this role, we seek someone who can quickly understand complex problems, make meaningful connections, and communicate clearly and efficiently with development teams. 

What you will be doing
  • Support Product Managers and development teams by testing and evaluating software, identifying issues related to performance, stability, and usability. 
  • Contribute to the creation of demos, documentation, and community content for both internal and external audiences. 
  • Assist the Training Team in developing training materials and examples that highlight new features. 
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to help determine the most effective solutions for customer needs. 
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to help guide product direction. 

What you will bring
  • Solid understanding of Finite Element Methods (FEM) and familiarity with FEA principles and applications 
  • Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using NumPy, Pandas, and Plotly for mathematical computing and data visualization 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling seamless collaboration across our international team 
  • Genuine curiosity about software development and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals 
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas beyond assigned tasks 
  • Passion for creating user-centered solutions and clear technical documentation
