We are looking for an Account Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract in Italy within the Discrete Vertical Sales organization area.

Your Challenge

As Account Manager your mission will be to establish, develop and maintain a successful business relationship as well as to create and handle business opportunities with new and assigned customers in the Emerging vertical markets - e.g. Batteries, Intralogistics, Semiconductors, reporting directly to the Discrete Vertical Market Director.

Some of the main activities will be:

  • Establish a good relationship with the assigned customers at every level of the customer’s organization (from operation up to C-levels)
  • Discover new potential customers and create business opportunities with a strong focus on digitalization
  • Influence and drive the customers in their digitalization revolution
  • Orchestrate the relationship and the activities between Siemens and the customers’ organizations
  • Cooperate with the entire Siemens sales organization to develop indirect business by End Customers in order to improve Siemens’s penetration inside the assigned customers
  • Define and implement customer business plans
  • Report business status by their assigned customers to local and international management

To be a perfect fit for this role, you shall have:

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electrical/automation/electronic/computer science/mechatronics engineering, or Technical High school Diploma
  • Experience in Sales activities and account Management
  • Strong customer focus with orientation to reach the targets, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
  • Knowledge in the main market dynamics and in the automation lines
  • Strong orientation to scouting activities
  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
  • Availability to travel nationally on weekly basis
