Business Development Manager - Protection and Automation

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Protection and Substation Automation Products, MV Components and Channel Partners segment. Based in Perth, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across WA and expanding our market presence within a high-potential sector.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across WA
- Developing and executing strategic growth plans to exceed sales targets
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Leading tenders, pricing strategies and contract negotiations
- Delivering compelling presentations and proposals that showcase Siemens’ value
- Collaborating with sales, marketing and technical teams to drive aligned growth
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
What you’ll bring
- Proven success in business development, sales or a related commercial role
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection and substation automation
- Experience in tendering, pricing and stakeholder management
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Degree in Business, Engineering or related field (desirable)
- Exposure to protection relays, RTUs, IEC 61850, digital substations or renewables (highly regarded)
